Child Safety & Wellbeing Statement

South Bendigo Athletics Club Inc. is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. We support their right to be safe, strong and heard, and we value their participation and feedback in decisions that affect them.

We celebrate diversity and are dedicated to providing a culturally safe environment for Aboriginal children, children from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds, children with disability, LGBTQIA+ young people and those with diverse family structures.

We have zero tolerance for child abuse. Every person at our club has a responsibility to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children. Concerns will be taken seriously, responded to promptly, and managed in line with the Victorian Child Safe Standards and Athletics Victoria/Australia.
